Our Story

During the Covid-19 pandemic, I started experimenting with aging and smoking meat, trying out various well-known recipes, seasonings, and rubs readily available on the market. The results were pretty good for an amateur, and many of my family and friends praised the meat.

However, one day my wife, Anne, asked, "Can you please just cook me a steak the way you used to?" Breakthrough. What I was striving for was right in front of me. After a lifetime of trying to perfect my steaks, I already had. Rub This On Your Meat was born from my wife NOT liking all of my experiments with the "other guys" seasonings.

 

So instead of buying various seasonings, I started bottling my own. Then, I tried it on every type of meat known to man. My custom blend was winning blind taste tests against all the big brands, and most importantly, Anne was happy with my steaks again!

 

During the process of perfecting the blend, it occurred to my close community of supporters and testers that Rub This On Your Meat could go on anything and everything. We joke that the only thing you can't put it on is cereal, but no one has actually tried that yet. If you do, let us know if it enhances the cereal experience!
